寝て下さい。

I've recently begun to do some paitings of happenings in our fair world and influenced by Los Tres Grandes, Orozco, Diego, and Sequieros, the great Mexican muralists. So far I have done several paintings depicting the aftermath of bombings in Iraq, showing the Iraqi people and their reactions. The newest piece I've done shows a man raising his arms toward a destroyed mosque in protest to the destruction of this place of worship. The sky looks almost apoctyliptic but in the center of the mosque is a light showing the hope of peace and the man acknowledges this but still dismays.

This painting was done on an Indian paper from Punjab. It was painted with Holbein irodori watercolors, some gouache and ink.
