Back from Japan

As you may have noticed from the paintings I got back from Japan. I also got a job in Japan so I will be heading back in April. In the meantime I'm just sitting around playing shakuhachi quite a lot, like 4 hours a day or so. Trying to expand my playing skills into different genres and schools of playing. I've been playing some Tozan ryuu, Dokyoku, Bach and others. My main playing style is Jin Nyodo myoan ryuu as taught by Kurahashi Yoshio. Hopefully I can continue with Kurahashi sensei when I return to Japan. Jya
